Strong Patio: New Construction

The Strong Patio incorporates new construction, flagstone in crushed granite, with the existing residence patio covered in flagstone set in a mud bed. The flagstone in crushed granite was set over a six inch layer of roadbed material and metal boarder was used to retain the raised patio. The brick that was used for the patio was left over from the original home construction. The design consists of an inviting curved brick step, four inch raised platform of flagstone, a brick boarder, double diamond brick design in the center, and culminates in a three foot curved brick wall with two carriage lamps. The main concern when designing the patio was water runoff. A path was left on both sides of the patio with stepping stones for this purpose and the main potion of the patio, raised. The design was a success in aesthetics and functionality, the patio looks great and drains perfectly.

Loesch Residence: New Construction

The Loesch Residence is a sprawling ranch house built high on a hill near Belleville, Texas with 360 degree views.  A combination of California 'Ranch Style' Architecture (e.g. Cliff May) mixed with traditional and classical elements. The residence features a first story with lots of glass for panoramic views, a second story with spectacular distant views, gracefully vaulted beamed ceilings, and a large modern Kitchen. This spectacular home wraps around an outdoor  kitchen and patio which is cooled by the rolling breeze over a neighboring lake. Any view from the Loesch residence is a picture, it is a true country paradise.

Phelps Residence: Addition

Phelps Construction

The Phelps Residence is a beautiful  colonial home near Brenham, Texas. Like many early 20Th century homes, the Phelps Residence has undergone a process of additions. Previous additions included a living room and porches. To keep up with modern day standards, we recently added an extended bedroom with large his and hers bathrooms and closets, a computer room and a dog room and rear porch. The design was in keeping with the original architecture. The Phelps Residence is truly a jewel of colonial architecture.
